Priscilla Naidoo from Eden Park in Alberton, south of Joburg, said her father Samson Guss worked for Liquid Air for more than 30 years.
He never claimed his provident fund and as the only surviving daughter, Priscilla wanted to find out if there were any funds due to her.
She came to the SunDefender for help.
WHAT I DID
I spoke to Carmen Williams from Old Mutual to find out if Priscilla could claim.
SOLUTION
Carmen confirmed Priscilla was the daughter of the late Guss.
She said her father received a monthly pension from Liquid Air and the last payment to him was on 1 October 1997, just before he died.
There are no further benefits payable to his beneficiaries or the estate.
