THE FACTS  

SYLVESTER Masipa from Winnie Mandela in Tembisa, Gauteng, said he had a stillborn in 2018.

He didn’t know about it, but his HR manager told him as an Old Mutual SuperFund member, he could make a death claim.

He completed the forms in November but hasn’t heard anything.

WHAT I DID 

I spoke to Old Mutual.

SOLUTION 

Carmen Williams said after their investigation, they tried calling Sylvester without success. 

They sent him a letter and paid him. Sylvester told the SunDefender his problem has been resolved.
