MCEKELENI Madikane from the Eastern Cape said he applied for his pension fund from the Government Pensions Administration Agency in 2016.
He was told his pension would be recalculated and that the process would take a long time. He said when he called their office, a consultant told him there was nothing on their system. He said all the necessary documents were submitted to the agency.

I spoke to Katlego Tselapedi from the agency.
SOLUTION
Tselapedi said the claim has gone for a tax directive to Sars.
She said once the process has been done, money would be paid into Mcekeleni’s bank account.
She promised to follow up on the matter.
