NONDUMISO Thantsha from Daveyton, Ekurhuleni said she was married for many years and when she got divorced, she and her husband were supposed to share their pension funds equally.
But her husband’s pension fund was not distributed fairly and she didn’t get her half share.
WHAT I DID
I spoke to the Government Employees Pension Fund and asked why she was not paid as expected.
SOLUTION
Katlego Tselapedi from the fund confirmed the file was with the payment section, which was finalising the payment process. An update would be provided as soon as they contacted the fund. They will confirm with her once the money has been paid.
