MMAPULA Khethoane from Cosmo City, Joburg, used to work for Aran International Removals from 1996 until last year.
She applied for her UIF, but when she contacted the labour department she found out it had still not been sorted out.
WHAT I DID
I contacted the department to find out what was happening with the application.
SOLUTION
Thabang Mahlangu said the last employer that had registered her was Aran International Removals from August 1997 to April 2010. There’s no trace of a recent UIF benefits claim on the system.
