THE FACTS

LINAH Sosibo from Daveyton, Ekurhuleni said her husband worked for Transnet for 32 years until he died in 2013.

She applied for his pension fund immediately after his death, but no payment was made.

Linah said whenever she called the company, she couldn’t get proper answers.

She came to the SunDefender for help.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to Nonhlahla Moholeng from Momentum, who promised to investigate.

SOLUTION

Moholeng said they have helped Linah and that her query was about the investment portion of her late husband’s funds.

Moholeng said Linah’s funds stopped in June last year, which could be for a number of reasons. She was given the contact number of a broker who assisted her at the time.

But from Momentum’s side, all payments that should have been made to Linah were paid
