NO MONEY IS DUE TO NTOMBI

accreditation

THE FACTS

NTOMBI Siwadawada from Chiawelo, Soweto said she worked at Chiawelo Clinic from 2006 to 2011 before she fell ill and resigned. She applied for her pension to be paid out but waited a long time with no feedback.

She came to the SunDefender looking for help.

WHAT I DID

I contacted the Government Pensions Administration Agency to find out when Ntombi could expect to receive her money.

SOLUTION

According to Katlego Tselapedi from the agency, Ntombi worked for two periods – from 12 December 2007 to 1 January 2008 and from 1 August 2008 to 30 November 2011. Katlego said Ntombi was paid out on 5 December last year. The money was, however, paid to the employer as Ntombi apparently had a debt with the employer. It was pointed out that Ntombi signed an acknowledgement of debt form with her employer. There was no money left over.
