MMAPASEKA Masango from Mabopane, Tshwane did a computer course for three years at PC College in Pretoria.
When she completed her diploma, she got an internship as a smart board technician at the Gauteng Education Department.
She was paid R2 500 and the money was later increased to R3 500. The internship ended in April this year but she claimed she wasn’t paid in February and March. Mmapaseka said she contacted management about the matter, but she couldn’t get anyhelp.

I spoke to Steve Mabona at the education department.
SOLUTION
Mabona said an outstanding payment for the former intern would be paid on 25 June.
Mmapaseka confirmed that she had been paid.
