THE FACTS

Loundry Maakamela from Mohlakeng in Randfontein, Gauteng said he worked for Red Alert Security for three years.

When he resigned he applied for his provident fund and submitted all the documents.

He said he still hasn’t been paid. He came to the SunDefender for help.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to Sindiswa Changuion at Private Sector Security Provident Fund, who promised to investigate.

SOLUTION

Changuion confirmed that the administrator was currently finalising the process of making a payment. This was after a directive from Sars was received.

The process and confirmation from the employer had delayed the finalising of the claim.

The administrator has spoken to Loundry about the matter.
