LAWYER WAS PAID

accreditation

THE FACTS

JEMINA Mavimbela from Daveyton, Ekurhuleni said she was involved in a car accident in 2013.

In 2014 an attorney contacted her requesting to do the claim on her behalf.

She agreed and at first the attorney stayed in touch with her but then stopped speaking to her.

She last heard from him when she went to a doctor. She decided to come to the SunDefender to ask for help.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to the Road Accident Fund to investigate the progress of the claim.

SOLUTION

Boniswa Matshoba from the fund said their investigation shows Jemina was represented by an attorney.

The fund has made the payment and the call centre has contacted Jemina but they could not get hold of her.

They said they will keep trying to speak to her.
