THE FACTSJOSHUA Nkosi from Randburg, Joburg, said he has been struggling to get his UIF.

He was told he needed to submit a UI-19 form from his former bosses.

The company was sold and he continued working for the new owners. He can’t get a UI-19 from the previous bosses.

WHAT I DID I spoke to the department of labour head office to help process Joshua’s UIF.

SOLUTION Teboho Thejane said Joshua got paid on 25 May last year. He must explain which period he was not paid for.
