JEREMIAH Letlhaku from Protea North, Soweto said he was struggling to pay his debts and he contacted Credit Rescue for assistance.
He said he paid R5 000 to Credit Rescue every month to pay off his debts, but they didn’t honour their agreement.
Jeremiah contacted the SunDefender for help.
He wanted to know if he could get a refund from Credit Rescue.
WHAT I DID
I spoke to Credit Rescue to find out why Jeremiah’s debts were not paid.
SOLUTION
Credit Rescue said Jeremiah only made three payments to their company. The first payment was for attorneys’ fees and the other two were distributed to the clients’ creditors.
A copy of the statement was sent to the SunDefender as proof of payment.
