accreditation

THE FACTS

Khabonina Moiloa was married to Thabang Moiloa, who was employed at Crown Mines as a boilermaker.

He fell ill and later died of pulmonary tuberculosis, leaving behind his wife and kids.

Khabonina told the SunDefender she applied for his provident and surplus funds and submitted all the relevant documents but was not paid anything. She decided to come to the SunDefender for help.

WHAT I DID

I asked the Mineworkers Provident Fund to investigate.

SOLUTION

Snehlanhla Maphumulo from the fund said they were unable to trace any record on their system based on the details provided and there are no benefits due in this regard.
