THE FACTS

FATIMA Mngwevu from Lenasia, south of Joburg said she has been receiving a grant for her six children. But last month she didn’t get the money and she couldn’t understand why.

She came to the SunDefender for help.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to Nandi Mosia at Sassa and she promised to investigate.

SOLUTION

Mosia said the beneficiary had formally requested the grant money to paid into her Capitec account.

She was advised to check her account.

Fatima confirmed that she submitted the bank statement as requested and she was told the problem was being investigated. She will be given feedback once the matter had been resolved.
