CHRISTINA Malu from Joburg said she bought a washing-machine and fridge on lay-bye at Bradlows in Jeppe Street.
She went to the store in December to pay off the outstanding amount but was told the products were out of stock.
When she asked for a refund, she was told she’d have to wait between 14 and 21 working days to get her money back.
Christina wrote to the SunDefender, seeking help because she thought that was a very long time to wait as it was the store’s fault she couldn’t get her goods.

I spoke to Sasha Kisten at JD Group, who promised to look into the matter.
SOLUTION
Kisten has confirmed that Christina was refunded on 27 December. Hey, it’s all joy for Christina after the SunDefender came to her rescue.
