THE FACTS

CATHERINE Merakeng from Lenasia, south of Joburg, said she went to an attorney to ask for help in her legal action against the Department of Health.

She’d been struggling to get feedback since she handed the case to the attorney in 2013.

Catherine said when she went to the firm, no one knew about her case.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to law firm Mulamula Incorporated.

SOLUTION

They promised they’d call Catherine but it never happened, despite follow-up inquiries. The SunDefender helped her lodge a complaint with the Legal Practice Council, which will investigate and release its findings.
