PATRICK Malapane from Protea, Soweto said he applied for his surplus from the Metal Industries Pension Fund Administrators but hadn’t received his payout.

I spoke to the administrators to find out what the delay was.
SOLUTION
Cynthia Mathipa, the surplus administrator, said they had tried to pay the money into Patrick’s account but his details were no longer active as the account was closed. She said the documents they needed to pay him should be delivered to their office at 80 Marshall Street, Joburg.
