BALESENG Stephen from Kagiso, Mogale City said he worked for Superwright for more than nine years. When his contract ended he was employed by Sebo Engineering for seven years.
He has applied for his provident fund but has not received any feedback. He came to the SunDefender asking for help.
WHAT I DID
I spoke to the Metal Industry Benefit Fund Administrators to investigate.
SOLUTION
Lebogang Tshabalala from the fund administrators confirmed the payment letter was sent and that the claim was paid last year.
The claim for Metrix Engineering was for 1971 and 1972 and for Sebo Engineering until November 1991.
