AMANDA Masike from Dobsonville, Soweto, made an application online for payment relief from her bank, which was later approved.

But the bank deducted the payment despite having applied for the payment relief. They promised to refund the amount, but to date this hasn’t happened.


Payment relief was a solution to qualifying customers for a certain period. Should you qualify, the bank will apply such relief.

If the payments were deducted, you can contact the bank for clarity and ask if the payment can be reversed.
