TV PRESENTER Stoan Seate is back with yet another exciting episode of Sun’Ceda.
This week, he will introduce Isaac Bidla, who manages the Soweto Blind Cricket Team.
He said this week’s episode shines a light on one of Mzansi’s unsung heroes.
“He has dedicated his life to the growth of the team and it was quite encouraging to see the work he does as volunteering is sometimes a job that doesn’t get a lot of gratitude from the community, but he still keeps on,” he said.
Stoan said they helped the cricket team by providing them with money for their upkeep as well as safety equipment for when they practise.
“They welcomed the help with both hands and were very excited. It was important for us to provide them with such because when you help people with professional equipment you are putting them on par with the people they compete with and it gives them a level playing field,” he said.
Stoan said the next episode of Sun’Ceda will be heartfelt and exciting.
“We are going to feature community builders from different industries as we do not discriminate and I hope people will enjoy seeing community leaders being put in the spotlight.
“A lot of the time, people have a lot of time on their hands, but don’t know what to do with it. Hopefully this will inspire them to start their own thing to uplift their communities,” he said.
