IN PSALMS 8:4-6, the Psalmist asks God: “What is man that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man that thou visitest him?
“For thou hast made him lower than the angels and crowned him with glory and honour.
“Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands.”
The scripture says there must be a great reason for man’s creation.
David realised we weren’t created by chance and showed there is a relationship between man and his creator.
His key question to God was: “What is man that you are mindful of him?”
He showed God always thinks about his people.
In Jeremiah 29:11,God said to Jeremiah: “I know the thoughts I think towards you, plans to proper you and not harm you”.
God takes time to visit mankind, suggesting fellowship.
It seems he created man for himself and wants a relationship with his people.
God created man in his class, meaning man is a child of God and was created to be god-like.
Finally, God granted humans control over all his work. The reason for the earth and all created in it is to serve mankind.
And God created people to fulfil his longing for fatherhood.
He longs for a perfect relationship with us.
Stop looking down on yourself and don’t be intimidated.
You are worth a lot more than any treasure. You belong to God and he desires to always love, provide for and protect you.
Don’t believe the devil’s lies. You are worth more than you think. Outside of our relationship with God, we become vulnerable to satanic attacks. The devil hates us because of God’s love for us.
