FOOD markets have become the place to be over weekends, as hipsters look for a lekker place to have a jol with amasing food.

These markets are known for their culinary arts of fine food, cuisine and drinks.

See if you looking for the best gourmet chicken dish around Jozi, Sumting Fresh will provide you with some refreshing cocktails and meals.

The People’s Paper had a chat with the co-founder of Sumting Fresh Hezron Louw about the amazing food he makes.

Louw says he and his partner Andrew Leeuw started the business on the streets of Midrand.

“For two years our business failed on the side of the road, and then we decided to change markets.

"So, we started doing food markets. We started doing Neibourgoods Market, Fourways Farmers Market and the response was absolutely amasing,” Louw said.

“I can tell you one thing, we know how to fry chicken,” Louw said.

Hezron said they started the business in a garage, and they had to split R150 a week for two years.

He says it was tough, they were broke, and the business was failing.

“Through perseverance, friendship, and determination they were able to create the brand,” he said.
