“WITHOUT faith it is impossible to please God: for he that comes to God must believe that he is; and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
The Book of Hebrew chapter 11 teaches about faith. It provides the definition of faith, its significance and reports.
It’s clear that God responds to faith, not mere emotions. God is attracted by faith, not by the looks of human beings.
God values faith more than money, fame and material achievements.
Faith is in essence the currency of the kingdom of God. It’s the difference between the haves and have-nots.
It’s the distinction between success and failure. It’s a prerequisite when approaching God.
It’s impossible to please God without faith. There are benefits in having a pleased God.
Solomon was granted wisdom and wealth that no man in history had ever attained.
David was promoted from shepherd to king of Israel.
On the other hand, it’s dangerous to anger God. There’s a set condition for approaching him. Whoever comes to him must believe he’s real.
You need to have faith. It’s a set condition that one has to believe that God is real. He’ll do what we believe he’s capable of.
God rewards those who seek him diligently. We seek him through his word and in prayer. His word reveals to us his mind.
We can’t comprehend him beyond his word. Prayer is the heartbeat of our spirit-man. It’s the communication channel through which we commune with God our father.
We therefore seek God through his word and by prayer.
