Ingredients
- 380g Eskort American regular hot dogs
- 30ml olive oil, for frying
- Four long hot dog rolls
- Butter or margarine for rolls
- White cheddar or any cheese you prefer, grated
- Dijon mustard
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and fry hot dogs until just cooked through, then remove from heat and set aside.
- Slice rolls open lengthwise and butter rolls insides with butter or margarine.
- Smear mustard lightly on the insides of the buttered rolls
- Placed a hot dog in each roll’s lengthwise split and then sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Place prepared rolls on an oven tray and grill in oven until cheese has melted.
- Remove hot dogs from the oven, serve warm and enjoy.
