TOMORROW, all roads lead to the Kasi Food and Drink Festival in Soweto.
It’s happening for the fourth year at FNB Stadium in Nasrec.
With a bigger venue and more impressive line-up this year, the event aims to showcase the many cool parts of South African culture, as well as provide a platform for entrepreneurs to display and sell their services and products in a safe, secure and friendly environment.
One topic of interest is the type of food common to Mzansi’s kasis, such as kota and mogodu. While they have been enjoyed over many decades, they have not been given many chances to be enjoyed at festivals until now.
Food will not be the only thing in the spotlight because the hot musical line-up features Sho Madjozi, DJ Fresh, Skwatta Kamp, Lady Zamar, Simtronic, 2KZA, Thee Gobbs, Amu, PDP and more, as well as appearances by personalities from Radio 2000 and BET.
