INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- Two egg yolks
- Two cups milk
- One teaspoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- Two bananas, sliced
- One baked pie crust
- Four ounces whipping cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
PREPARATIONS
- In a heavy saucepan, mix flour, sugar, egg yolks and milk together.
- Cook and stir until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Let mixture boil for one minute.
- Add butter and vanilla essence.
- Place half the bananas in the bottom of a baked pie crust.
- Pour half of the filling over the bananas.
- Repeat by pouring in layers.
- Cover with wax paper and chill.
- Whip the cream until stiff.
- Beat sugar in the cream until mixed.
- Pile cream sinfully on top of pie.
- EAT!
