EASY BANANA CREAM PIE

INGREDIENTS

- 1/3 cup flour

- 2/3 cup sugar

- Two egg yolks

- Two cups milk

- One teaspoon butter

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

- Two bananas, sliced

- One baked pie crust

- Four ounces whipping cream

- 1/4 cup sugar

PREPARATIONS

  • In a heavy saucepan, mix flour, sugar, egg yolks and milk together.
  • Cook and stir until the mixture comes to a boil.
  • Let mixture boil for one minute.
  • Add butter and vanilla essence.
  • Place half the bananas in the bottom of a baked pie crust.
  • Pour half of the filling over the bananas.
  • Repeat by pouring in layers.
  • Cover with wax paper and chill.
  • Whip the cream until stiff.
  • Beat sugar in the cream until mixed.
  • Pile cream sinfully on top of pie.
  • EAT!
