Ingredients
- 1kg beef mince
- Four burger buns
- Four slices cheese
- One teaspoon butter
- Salt
- Pepper
PREPARATION
- Preheat the oven to 350°C
- Shape your mince into 110g patties that are just wider than the bottom of the bun.
- Jam your thumb in the centre of each patty to slow shrinking.
- Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
- Heat an oven element to a medium heat.
- Melt one teaspoon of butter in a large pan or skillet.
- Cook your burgers for three to four minutes on each side in the pan or skillet.
- When your burgers are done, jam a cheese slice between two patties. Add another piece of cheese on top.
- On a baking sheet, bake burgers in the oven until the cheese melts.
- Put burgers on buns and add your favourite sauces.
