INGREDIENTS
- One cup plain flour
- 1/3 cup castor sugar
- One teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 50g butter, melted
- One egg, lightly whisked
- 100g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup thickened cream
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl. Make a well. Stir in milk, butter and egg until smooth.
- Spoon mix in resealable plastic bag. Cut bag corner.
- Pipe in 12 doughnut pans. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until skewer inserted in doughnuts comes out clean.
- Stir chocolate and cream in saucepan over medium heat for five minutes or until smooth.
- Set chocolate mix aside for 20 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Dip light side of doughnuts in chocolate mix.
- Place glazed side up on a tray to set.
