AVO YOGHURT SMOOTHIE

LOVELY ripe avocados make the most deliciously smooth and filling smoothies. Served made with any seasonal topping and your day will be off to a great start.

SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS

- One ripe avocado, peeled

- ½ cup plain Greek yoghurt or almond or soya milk

One tablespoon honey

One banana

One tablespoon protein powder – optional

TOPPING INGREDIENTS

- Two tablespoons granola

- Seasonal berries

One tablespoon chia seeds

Two tablespoons granola

Nuts and dried coconut flakes

PREPARATION

  • To make the smoothie, blend all the ingredients together in a blender and whizz until smooth, then pour into a bowl or large glass.
  • To make granola dust, whizz the granola in a food processor until fine or pound it old school with a pestle in a mortar.
  • Top smoothie bowl with granola dust, seasonal berries, chia seeds and nuts.

Note: Change the exotic toppings for fruit or other seeds and spices you like.
