THE rise of internet courses is changing education – you can register and study for an accredited online degree!
Vega, a brand of The Independent Institute of Education, launched two degrees, which offer people the opportunity to pursue a career in strategic brand management and communication.
Applications are open for an online bachelor of commerce in strategic brand management and bachelor of arts in strategic brand communication degrees. Both are four-year undergraduate degrees. They start in February.
Cynthia Olmesdahl, online strategist at Vega, said: “We know that support is key to online learning success. This is why we’ve made sure that students have scheduled and after-hours access to tutors.”
Students access online module tutors for course-related queries, tutorials and discussions. They can access tutor for motivation and support.
“Whether you are starting higher education for the first time or returning to studies, online learning offers flexibility for those with busy lives.”
While students are free to structure their study time as they see fit, Vega recommends participation in regular online sessions to benefit from expert support.
Students should spend at least 20 to 25 hours a week engaged with the material.
Because of the quality of the independent institute’s online learning platform, the student’s experiences may be incorporated into the course.
“Online learning shouldn’t be a lonely and isolated experience. Team work and collaboration is central to the learning experience.”
Applications to enrol in next year’s intake of Vega’s online degrees are open.
