SEKHUKHUNE United defender Sello Motsepe said they will have to bring their A-game if they are to upset defending DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns when they clash at Tuks Stadium on Sturday (3.30pm).

Motsepe said: “We going to go out there and fight so that we get a victory on Saturday.”

Both teams have been in a great run of form this season. Downs head the standings with 27 points while Sekhukhune, last season’s GladAfrica Championship champions are third on 20 points. Sekhukhune are one of the surprise packages of the season so far.

Motsepe said they’ve had enough time to prepare and have worked out how to play Sundowns.

He added: “We need to be disciplined on our tactics, stick to our game plan on the day and execute what the coach has been preparing us to do this week,” he said.

He said the match between last year’s Championship winners and the Premiership champions is going to be an interesting one with both sides looking to get three points.

Despite winning six games from a possible 11, Motsepe said there are a few things they need to work on as a team and says they can improve.

But he added that it has been a great season so far for the team, and they are proud of the work they have done so far.
