BLOEMFONTEIN Celtic fans are out on bail after being arrested on Sunday for allegedly causing violence that erupted at the Dr Molemela Stadium on Sunday.

Celtic fans invaded the pitch in the 22nd minute during their club’s Absa Premiership match against Cape Town City forcing referee to abandon the game.

The players and officials run to the changeroom for safety and the police used stun grenades and forcefully removed the unruly fans from the pitch.

The PSL charged the club on Monday for failure to provide adequate security for the match and bringing the league, sponsors Absa, Safa, Caf and Fifa into disrepute.

But Siwelele will face the Disciplinary Committee on 25 April.

The 11 supporters who misbehaved appeared in Bloemfontein Magistrate court on Tuesday and their case was postponed to 17 May.

Nine are out on bail of R500 and two of the accused are on free bail.

But one supporter is no longer a suspect and he was released from custody.
