IT was well worth it that National first Division (NFD) side, TS Galaxy, players celebrate their win against Golden Arrows in style.

And indeed Dan Malesela's players celebrated the win like they have already won the Nedbank Cup final.

For someone who didn't know what their 3-1 win against Golden Arrows meant, they would certainly join in the celebration thinking they have lifted their first major trophy since the club was forced late last year.

The team belong to prominent lawyer, Tim Sukazi, who had to quit managing players as agent after he bought the club's status and started being chairman of the Mpumalanga outfit.

Galaxy are arguably the first team from the lower divisions to qualify for the Nedbank Cup final where they will meet Kaizer Chiefs at Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium on 18 May.

The weekend of the cup final will be completed with the annual PSL Awards that will be held at Durban's Convention Centre on Sunday, 19 May.
