TENDAI Ndoro has put behind the misery he encountered due to the saga that saw Ajax Cape Town being docked nine points and eventually got relegated from the Premier Soccer League at the end of 2017/18 season.

The Zimbabwean International received a two match suspension after being accused of violating Fifa regulations by playing for three clubs in one season.

Platinum Stars, Polokwane City and SuperSport United protested Ndoro’s eligibility.

Ndoro looked sharp in front of goal at Highlands training session on Thursday as they prepare for their MTN8 Cup semi-final first leg clash against Polokwane City at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

He says the love he gets from Siyabahlaba/Siyabangena family has restored his appetite for the game and to do what he loves most, scoring goals.

“I feel that I am home at Highlands.

The love and appreciation I get is the most important thing in football.

Where there is love, there is everything.

It’s more important to be where you are wanted, and valued, it’s nice to be here.

Ndoro didn’t want to dwell on the saga as it brings bad memories.

“I don’t want to talk about that, it’s water under bridge. It’s gone and won’t come back (to haunt him) again. We learnt both PSL and club (Ajax) they learnt from it.

However, he hailed Highlands management and coach Owen da Gama with his technical staff for giving him a chance to revive his career.

“Highlands is a football family, they believe in me.

I am helping the youngsters who are also looking up to me like Peter Shalulile, he is doing well learning from the best.

It’s good to be around such an environment."

Ndoro is confident that Highlands will do well against Rise and Shine.

“We have quality in the team, but we don’t want to put pressure on ourselves by saying we want to win league or MTN8 Cup.”
