SOUTH African referees are heading for another busy weekend on the continent officiating in Caf Champions League and Confederation Cup fixtures.

In Kenya on Sunday, Thando Ndzandzeka will referee the match between Tusker FC  against Tunisia side CS Sfaxien at Nairobi’s Nyayo National Stadium. 

He will be assisted by Kamusi Razwimisani as his first assistant and the second assistant will be Kgara Mokoena. Luxolo Badi, another highly rated referee in SA, will be the fourth official.

Royal Leopards of eSwatini host JS Kabylie at Mavuso Stadium on Sunday and two officials from Mzansi have been called up. Former Safa CEO Gay Mokoena will be match commissioner alongside with his compatriot Johnny Du Toit, who will be the referee assessor.

In Zambia when Zanaco hosts Mali side Binga at Lusaka Heroes National Stadium on Sunday, Enoch Molefe has been appointed as the referee assessor.

Meanwhile, in the AWCON Women’s Under 20 competition, Maneo Evodia Tau will be the first assistant in the match between Zambia when they host Ghana next month. 

Tau will have Nobuhle Tsokela as the second assistant, while Akhona Makalina will be a fourth official. This game was supposed to be refereed by Lindiwe Elsie Thwala but she was not available and has been replaced by Nuusiku Vistoria Shangula of Namibia.
