SEKHUKHUNE United goalkeeper, Toaster Nsabata, has credited his impressive form to the advice given to him by teammate and veteran keeper, Tapuwa Kapini.

The 28-year old joined Babina Noko this season from Zambian giants Zesco United, and wasted no time in becoming coach MacDonald Makhubedu’s first choice keeper.

The Zambian international, who is on his debut season in the DStv Premiership, featured in nine consecutive league matches, conceding six goals.

“Kapini (41) is a good guy with lots of experience in the Premiership,” said Nsabata.

“I am lucky to work with a guy like him as he has been giving me advice about the Premiership and where I need to improve as a goalkeeper. What I like about him (Kapini) is that he wants what is best for the club.”

Added the Chingola-born goalie: “We are also lucky to have a technical team and squad that helped me to adapt fast.

“I will continue to work hard and improve in my game.”

Kapini has been playing in Mzanzi for 20 years.

The former Zimbabwean international has also played for the likes of Highlands Park, Platinum Stars and AmaZulu.

On their Sunday league encounter against SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium (3.30pm), Nsabata said: “It will be a tough game, but we are going to fight. We lost our last game against Mamelodi Sundowns (2-0) and we want to get back to winning form.”

The Premiership rookies, who have been impressive this season, are fifth on the log with 20 points from 12 league matches. United, the three-times Premiership champions, are sixth with 19 points, also from 12 matches.
