FORMER Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City winger Riyaad Norodien has found a new club in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Norodien joined Daring Club Motema Pembe in the DRC on a one year deal.
The club confirmed the signing of the 26-yea-old on their Facebook page: "NORODIAN RIYAAD OFFICIALLY INT ÈGRE THE TEAM."
"South African international striker is officially a Daring player for the rest of this season, former Ajax Cape Town could soon recover his number 31 if possible.Engaged for the Confederation Cup, we will need his input to bring us up and his talent too young 26 years for the coronation of Vodacom League 1 as we think about it."
Norodien last played for Cape Town Spurs last season, where they survived relegation to the ABC Motsepe League by a whisker.
After his one season sting with Spurs came to an end, Norodien was clubless since June.
The DRC club confirmed on Monday that they had signed Norodien. In DRC, he will be linking up with former Orlando Pirates striker Jean-Marc Makusu who failed to impress during his stint in Mzansi with the Buccaneers.
