KAIZER Chiefs has provided a new update on midfielder Dumisani Zuma.
Early this month, Chiefs suspended the 26-year-old from all activities club activities after it was alleged that the Police nabbed him for driving under the influence of alcohol.
On Thursday, the club confirmed that the player is still suspended."A disciplinary hearing was held to deal with the matter relating to Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Dumisani Zuma," the club revealed in a brief statement.
"An independent chairperson presided over the hearing process. Following the hearing and the recommendations made, Mr Dumsani Zuma will be disciplined in line with the company's disciplinary code. He has been suspended from Club activities and will attend rehabilitation."
Zuma, who has recently recovered from a long-term injury, is yet to appear for Chiefs this season. There are reports that the player might be on his way out from Naturena.
