The memorial service of soccer star Anele Ngcongca is currently underway in Gugulethu Cape Town.
Ngcongca died in a car accident last month in KwaZulu Natal.

Gugulethu residents told Daily Sun that they are digesting his death.

"I'm here for his memorial service but I will be satisfied that he is dead when we bury him. It still feels surreal," said Bantu Mayalo (29) who stays in the same area with Ngcongca.
