Psalms 107:20 reads: “He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from destruction.”
A recent study revealed that the top causes of death in South Africa are TB, diabetes, heart disease and HIV.
Sickness is a weapon used by Satan. But God has provided a solution to this problem. He gave us His word so we could be healed.
Despite this, many people are still falling ill and dying. The problem is that a lot of people do not know the healing power of God’s word.
God redeemed us through Christ. His redemption provides perfect healing for every believer. But because of a lack of knowledge, many Christians are sick.
What is the word? John 1:1 reads: “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.” Verse 14 reads: “And the word became flesh, and He dwelt among us and we held His glory full of grace and truth.”
Jesus Christ is the word that God sent to heal the sick. Hebrews 4:12 reads: “The word of God is active and alive.” Christ was first sent as the spoken word through the teachings of the prophets. He later became the living word when Mary gave birth to Him.
He lived among His people and died for their sins so they could be forgiven by God the father. Three days later, He left His grave and went to heaven, where He serves as our high priest.
Jesus returned to us through the Holy Spirit. The written word of God only comes alive when we follow its instructions.
