PROVERBS 18:20-21 says: “With the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied; He will be satisfied with the product of his lips. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit”.
Today I intend to teach readers the power of words.
Although words are common, they can lead to uncommon destinies. Many people use words carelessly and casually. The Scriptures reveal that words are powerful; they carry the power to kill or to make alive. Whenever a person speaks, the words spoken carry the power to kill or to make alive. Life and death are in the power of the tongue.
This means that those who say they can, and those who say they cannot are both right. Whatever you say is bound to happen. It will come to pass, whether good or bad. It is dangerous to joke with words. Joking with words is joking with destinies.
Never allow people to say negative things concerning your life because such words will derail your destiny.
The Bible says, “With the fruit of man’s mouth his stomach will be filled”. This means you will eat the fruit of your words. This calls for consciousness to the power of words. Words produce fruit, both good and bad. Words are seeds, good and evil. The choice is yours.
Say good things about your life; Speak life and blessings. Speak breakthrough. Never curse your destiny; do not speak evil of your spouse or children. Do not allow the pain of today to cause you to speak words that will kill your future. Many African families have named their children according to their unfortunate situations; they have named their children Madimabe (bad luck); Mehlodi (tears); Matlakala (rubbish) and so forth. Every time when these children are called, negative energy is released against them.
I command that curse to be broken in Jesus’ name. Never ever name your children after your painful situations of today. Name them according to the destiny you desire. Words are powerful. In John 6:63, Jesus says: “The words that I speak to you are the spirit and they are life”.
