FORMER president Jacob Zuma is expected to file an urgent application for the recision of the Constitutional Court ruling.

The ConCourt ruled that Zuma be imprisoned for 15 months for contempt.

Zuma’s legal team specified to the state that Msholozi will seek to urgently stay the execution of the order for his arrest in the Pietermaritzburg High Court.

According to News24, acting Chief Justice Sisi Khampepe has also signed a warrant of committal for Zuma.

In the letter signed on 30 June, it shows that Zuma will be jailed at Westville Correctional Centre in KwaZulu-Natal.

Zuma’s daughter Dudu Zuma-Sambudla posted a tweet on Thursday night saying: “Working late with @PresJGZuma seriously studying the documents.”
