A raging bull which escaped from a Standerton,Mpumalanga auction lot on Friday was caught on camera knocking over a woman in the small town's CBD.
Footage captured by the manager of the local KFC shows the aggravated animal narrowly missing two bystanders before knocking over a woman who was standing on the street corner.
Standerton police spokesperson Captain Johannes Fani Nhlabathi told News24 that the bull escaped an auction lot about one kilometre away from the CBD.
"According to the KFC manager who filmed the incident, the lady said she was fine and didn't need any medical treatment," he said.
Nhlabathi confirmed that the bull was captured and returned to the auction.
