FORMER SABC boss and ABSA deputy CEO Peter Matlare (61) has died due to Covid-19 complications.
Matlare has held the position of CEO and Executive Director at Tiger Brands Ltd, was an Executive Director-Commercial at Vodacom SA, Chief Strategy and Chairman at National Association of Broadcasters.
Saddened Professor Thuli Madonsela expressed shock at the news of Matlare’s death.
“Covid-19 has robbed us of another professional in his prime. Heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues,” said Madonsela.
