A 19-YEAR-OLD girl died after choking on her own vomit.
The tragic incident happened while she was riding a roller coaster in Istanbul.
The Sun reported that Zeynep Günay went to an amusement park with her family and while on the “kamikaze” ride, began to feel ill as it sped up.
She then passed out and started to vomit. But despite her family notifying officials to stop the ride, it still continued.
The family reportedly called an ambulance once the ride had stopped. She was taken to hospital, but died on the way.
It is understood the teenager died because vomit had blocked her respiratory tract.
Her uncle Fatih Günay reportedly said his niece had died as a result of negligence, and they would do “whatever it takes” to get justice.
