FOUR people burned to death in a crash between a car and a bakkie.
The incident happened in the afternoon on Monday, at R34 between Melmoth and Ulundi.
“When paramedics arrived, they found that a car and a bakkie had been involved in a head-on collision, causing the car to burst into flames.

“Sadly, the four occupants of the car were still in the car and succumbed to the flames,” Arrive Alive said.
One occupant from the bakkie sustained serious injuries and was treated on scene and transported to hospital.
The cause of the accident is unknown.
