Fong Kong brands are full in many stores in Mzansi.

This weekend a massive joint operation by cops in Johannesburg led to a million rand bust and saw the confiscation of fake branded items including sneakers and clothing’s which would have costed one a couple of good thousands had they bought the real brands.

The operation conducted by Metro Police Department, Customs Officials and Brand holders raided buildings in Johannesburg Central Business District where they confiscated counterfeit goods to the estimated value of R24.5 million.

Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo said cops executed a search and seizure order from the court after information was received about the buildings that are storing counterfeit goods in Johannesburg.
