Nateniel Julies' family still waiting for justice!

accreditation

JAMES Julies said he was frustrated about the endless delays in the case of three cops accused of killing his grandson, Nateniel Julies.

“I still want justice for my laaitie who was killed like a dog,” he said.

James said that the delays had been sucking the strength out of the family.

“Let’s keep on fighting for justice, not only for Nateniel, but for all the children who are killed by the very same people who are supposed to protect us.”

Vorster Netshiongolo, who is out on bail, Caylene Whiteboy and Simon Ndyalvana appeared briefly in the Protea Magistrates Court for the murder of Nateniel.

The trio was also facing charges of defeating the ends of justice and possession of prohibited ammunition.

Magistrate David Mhango postponed the matter to 25 February.

“We’re going home not knowing what is going to happen, and the commissioner wasn’t here to sign the indictment,” said James.

“This is difficult for the family but we have to find a way of getting through this.”

Nateniel’s mum, Bridget Harris, said Christmas was bleak for them without their son.

“Nateniel was a spiritual being. He made Christmas worthwhile.

“We sat there eating dinner but all our thoughts were with him throughout the day,” she said.

“We didn’t even play music because he was the one always dancing.”

She said that her other son, who used to dance with Nateniel, left the house to go out with friends because Nateniel was not there to dance with him.

“It just wasn’t the same,” she added.
