On Thursday Prophet Paseka "Mboro" Motsoeneng was in Harare, Zimbabwe praying for the rain.

Mboro ‘s prayer was live at the Heart and Soul Zim radio station and Newsday Zimbabwe facebook page.

He also prayed for the economic transformation and unity of the country.

Mboro said there was no sign of rain prior to his prayers.

He said: “The clouds formed in an incredible way and it’s raining.”

Speaking to Daily Sun last week, Mboro said he was embarking on a campaign to pray for the rain.

He said he will extend his prayers to the drought-stricken Zimbabwe.

On Monday, Mboro prayed for a peaceful rain.

In a video, Mboro could be heard commanding heavy rains never to stop and calling upon a peaceful rain.

The video was followed by messages and videos of residents thanking him.

He said he was woken up by the storm in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni.

Mboro said: “In the early hours of the morning I was awakened by storms, had to stop them in Jesus name to allow peaceful rain.

“In the name of Jesus, I command it rain peacefully. I have promised rain in Ekurhuleni, Vaal, City of Tshwane and the greater Joburg. I command it rains. I command the clouds not to bring storms,” Mboro added.

While praying the rain could be seen starting to pour softly.

In a separate video a man could be heard thanking Mboro for making it rain.

He shouted: “We have rain....we have rain! He brought the rain, Prophet Mboro pour.”
