KZN MEC DIES OF COVID-19 COMPLICATIONS

THE KZN MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Bheki Ntuli has died. 

He died in hospital on Saturday, 16 January and it is  believed that he succumbed to Covid-19.

The African National Congress KZN spokesman Nhlakanipho Ntombela  confirmed the untimely passing of its Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) Member to Daily Sun and said he passed on after a short illness. 

Ntombela said Ntuli was currently serving as MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison.

"The ANC in the province will release an official statement once the Office of the Premier has made an official announcement," he said. 

Ntombela further said the ANC calls on everybody to give the family space to mourn their untimely loss peacefully until further details are announced.
